It is a 1-channel intrinsically safe (Ex-e) universal temperature converter/isolation safety barrier.

 

 

• Purpose: Converts analog signals from resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), thermocouples, or potentiometers into proportional current outputs (0‑4 mA or 4‑20 mA) that can be directly fed to PLCs, DCSs, and other control systems.
• Safety features: Designed with intrinsic safety (Ex‑e) to provide reliable electrical isolation between hazardous (explosive) zones and safe zones, complying with SIL 2, ATEX, IECEx and other international safety standards.
• Technical specifications:
  • Inputs: Supports 2‑ or 4‑wire RTDs, thermocouples (with built‑in cold‑junction compensation), or potentiometer/voltage signals.
  • Outputs: Selectable 0‑20 mA or 4‑20 mA, with sink or source mode options.
  • Physical dimensions: Approximately 20 × 119 × 115 mm, weight about 130 g, DIN 35 mm rail‑mountable, IP20 protection rating.
• Typical applications: Process control, industrial automation, petrochemical, energy, packaging, and other industrial environments that require intrinsically safe equipment.
