Core Protection Functions:
Overload Protection: Provides precise overload protection by simulating the motor’s thermal characteristics (thermal memory function). When the motor current exceeds the set value for a certain period of time, the relay disconnects the power supply, mimicking the function of a bimetallic thermal relay but with greater accuracy and stability.
Phase Loss Protection: Detects the loss of any phase in the three-phase power supply. Phase loss can cause the motor to quickly overheat and burn out, making this a crucial feature.
Jailed-Rotor Protection: When the motor stops rotating due to a mechanical fault during startup or operation, the current increases sharply, prompting the protector to activate immediately.
Compact Design and Ease of Use:
Modular Design: Mounts on standard DIN rails, saving space in the control cabinet.
Integrated Normally Closed/Normally Open Contacts: Provides a trip output contact (95-96 for normally closed, 97-98 for normally open) that disconnects the contactor coil circuit and provides an auxiliary alarm contact.
Manual/Automatic Reset: The reset mode can be selected using the side knob. Manual reset is safer, ensuring the fault is corrected before restarting.
Clear Status Indicator: An LED indicator (typically green/red) displays power and trip status.

Rated Current Range: This specific model typically has an adjustment range of 0.1A – 0.16A or 0.16A – 0.25A (depending on the suffix). This is one of the most critical parameters when selecting this model and must match the full load current (FLC) of the protected motor.
Power Supply: Typically drawn directly from the main circuit of the monitored motor (no separate auxiliary power supply is required), simplifying wiring.
Applicable Motor Power: Suitable for smaller motors, such as small motors with power ratings of approximately 0.05kW to 0.12kW at 380V/400V.
