Trusted® Controller Series General Description
Core Architecture: Utilizes Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) technology, designed to minimize system downtime and provide high availability, fault tolerance, and fail-safe functionality.
Hardware Configuration: One controller rack supports 240 TMR I/O channels, including a redundant processor, dual Ethernet, and various serial communication capabilities. The rack contains the TMR processor and eight slots for I/O modules, communication modules, or expansion rack interface modules.
I/O Modules: Dedicated analog and digital I/O modules are available, each channel designed to meet SIL 3 safety requirements and featuring full signal testing capabilities, configurable line monitoring, and status LEDs.
Power and Integration: Supports single or dual 24V DC or AC redundant power supplies. This series can be integrated into the Rockwell Automation PlantPAx® solution for network communication.
